Lenses

As independent optometrists, we value our ability to choose the product we use. This means we can recommend a solution that we are confident will give the best vision/quality of life solution for our client. This is especially important when it comes to the choice of lens to go in the glasses.

Technology has brought exciting developments to lens design and the new products available to us. We now have new generation progressive lenses that have wider, 'swim-free' distance areas and larger reading zones. We have materials and designs that make previously 'milk bottle bottom' lenses now look very respectable. We have plastic lenses with surfaces as hard as glass and anti-reflection coatings that not only make the lens reflections disappear but are significantly easier to maintain. The changing tint lenses continue to improve – not only going darker and clearer than before but doing it in half the time.

Our qualified Dispensing Opticians have a wealth of knowledge in this area and are here to help you find the lens that best suits your visual and lifestyle needs.

We are open for face to face appointments
